Английская блэк-дэт метал группа The Order of Apollyon была образована летом 2008 года бывшими участниками Aborted, Даниэлем Вилдингом (ударные) и Себастьяном Туви (гитара/вокал). Работа над первым полноформатным альбомом началась с приходом в группу гитариста Джеймса МакИлроя (Cradle Of Filth) и басиста Питера Бенджамина (экс-Akercocke). Этот проект нечто большее, чем просто экстрим-метал-группа, это музыкальный союз. The Order of Apollyon распространяют свою философию во всем мире, охватывая все более и более широкую аудиторию.
В 2010 году The Order of Apollyon подписала контракт на выпуск трех альбомов с лейблом Listenable Records. Biography:
Formed in 2008 by BST (Aosoth, ex-Aborted) and then-drummer Daniel Wilding (Carcass), THE ORDER OF APOLLYON is an artistic and spiritual concept. With lyrics based on "the Divine nature of Death, and the prophecy carried on by Death's ultimate servant, man, and a music between death metal and black metal, with martial ambient influences" (as commented by the band themselves), TOOA have developed their personal sound through two full length albums: "The Flesh" (2010) and "The Sword And The Dagger" (2015).
Accompanied by a line-up consisting of members of the elite of the French Black Metal scene (Hell Militia, Aosoth, Temple of Baal), and starting a new international collaboration with Agonia Records, the band is now focusing on their next release, to be recorded at the infamous Bst Studios in 2016.

The Order Of Apollyon was formed in 2008 by then Aborted members, guitarist BST (ex-Aosoth, VI) and drummer Dan Wilding (Carcass). Over the course of two studio albums, "The Flesh" (2010) and "The Sword And The Dagger" (2015), the band forged themselves a distinct path through death and black metal soundscapes, that evoke of Behemoth or Mgła, but with and edge towards French black metal in the vein of Aosoth or VI. After a line-up reconfiguration, forced by Wilding's transition to Carcass and conflicting schedules amongst remaining members, the band's French roots gained the upper hand. BST started off new and recruited veterans of his native black metal scene, including members of Temple Of Baal, Hell Militia and Merrimack. The new album "Moriah" is a testament to the new line-up, which introduced stability and evoked deeper levels of teamwork within the band. It is, without a doubt, the most coherent, mature and creative work the band ever put out.
"Moriah" was recorded, mixed and mastered at BST Studio, except for drums which were recorded at Studio de Saint-Loup. Artwork by Vincent Lécuyer.
