The Order of Apollyon is a black/death metal side project formed by members of Aborted, Akercocke, Aosoth, Arkhon Infaustus, Cradle Of Filth, Goat Torment, Hell Militia, and Temple of Baal. They have released two full-length albums and are currently working on their third. Their music is a blend of death and black metal with martial ambient influences, and their lyrics focus on the divine nature of death and the prophecy carried on by death's ultimate servant, man.
